Kerry Turner's stated goal is to paint a musical picture, thought or impression as clearly as possible and then to communicate it to the listener and the performer, that it might appear in their minds as vividly as if it were on a large movie screen.

The works contained on this, his first CD with MSR, certainly demonstrate that Mr. Turner has achieved his purpose and more. Compositions included in this program feature a variety of ensembles from the Saturday Brass Quintet's opening "Ricochet" performance to the American Horn Quartet's featured "Fandango" to smaller mixed groups of violin, trumpet, horn, tuba, and piano.
