As an acclaimed soloist
and chamber musician,
Victoria Mushkatkol
has been praised by critics for
her "incendiary, flawless, outstanding" performances. She brings "warmth,
color, and the intensity of the Russian piano school to every stage on
which she performs...". Hailing from Odessa
on the Black Sea, Ms. Mushkatkol made her concert debut with the Kiev Philharmonic
at the age of ten. After graduating from the Kiev Music School
for Gifted Children, she went on to study at the St. Petersburg
Conservatory with professor Vladimir Nielsen, one of Russia's most eminent
piano teachers, graduating from the Conservatory with honors. Since moving to the United
States, Victoria has established herself as an international performer, appearing
in recital and in chamber music concerts through out the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific. She has collaborated with
such eminent musicians as Evgeny
Bushkov, Karen Buranskas, Andre Emilianoff, and the Leontovich, Veronika
and Amernet String Quartets. Currently Ms. Mushkatkol resides in New York
and is on the faculty of The Juilliard School's Pre-College Division.
